Chit Chat and All That! with Julez S Morbius, Pablo Michaels and BL Morticia talking about Gay & Straight Relationships

Chit Chat and All That!

The Similarities and Differences Between Straight and Gay Relationships in Real Life and Fiction with

Julez S Morbius, Pablo Michaels, and Sharita Lira writing as BLMorticia

We decided to make this more of a conversation than an article. I found this to be very enlightening to talk with Julez and Pablo about this subject as we all strive to make our stories believable even though two of us can only identify with being gay in our stories.

Pablo gives great points as well since he has been committed to his partner for several years. He also speaks about writing hetero sex even though he hasn’t had the experience firsthand.

BL: So we are to talk about the differences between het and gay sex. I’d like to do a different angle on this. Yes we can talk about the facts of how it feels but also how it affects our writing.
Yes the same feelings and emotions are used in both but when we cross, that would be me, into writing what we don't know, how will we handle it?

Julez, I'd like to know if you can add some thoughts on transgender writing as well. I recall you saying you hadn't experienced it but loved writing it. How do you translate what you havent done into making the stories believable?

Julez:  Being fundamentally straight, I’ve never been with any sex other than a woman, I prefer to write transgender and, on some occasions, gay male because I think it is more of a challenge. Writing what we don't know makes us more cautious and therefore a lot more precise in the detail and description.
Regarding transgender writing I believe that the same rules occur as for all genres, but what I’ve read in the past portrays the transsexual as just a sex object to be used and that's wrong. Transgender people are people after all and should be afforded the same respect as any other gender, whether straight, gay, lesbian or bi. They also have feelings and emotions and they should be portrayed as such.

Writing sex scenes is also not much different, except the obvious. And as long as that’s remembered it’s easy to make a scene flow just like any other. For instance if the scene is between a trans woman and a man it has to be written more as a gay male scene when describing the oral and penetration and if it’s a woman and a trans female, the scene is more lesbian until the actual trans penetrates the woman and then it becomes almost like a hetero scene.

BL: Awesome explanation Julez. I agree with everything you said.

I especially agree with the part about being more precise when it comes to writing something you haven't experienced. I have to admit, my gay male sex mind thinks of porn. *laughs* But what I added to it was more emotion instead of just the fucking. More romanticism. When I did the sex parts I asked Ike Rose, another gay writer, to read one of them. One of the things he told me is gay men don’t always fuck right away when they get together unless it’s a one nighter.

That is the biggest misconception I'd think, right Pablo?

People think gay men cannot be in relationships without fucking or being promiscuous. I recall sending one of my stories to my writers list for critique and someone told me it was unrealistic for me to think a gay man was holding out to be with one man.

How is that? I mean, there are gay whores and het whores. In all truth, when I wasn’t married I had more than my share of sex experiences and really didn't care what people thought of it. Of course I was cautious but I loved having sex.

What about gay men? I mean, they can be in and out of people’s beds and or committed.

Ike has been with his man 29 years. It can happen.

Julez: Excellent point BL. Romanticism is just as important whether the couple are in a gay, hetero and even trans relationship. With just sex there isn't a relationship at all, and sex is also no way to build a relationship. You may have the greatest sex partner ever but without the extra little things like love, respect, romance, honesty and faithfulness a relationship will crash and burn very rapidly, and sometimes there is too much misconception that same sex partners can't have a loving relationship, which of course they can and many do. Hell Gay and trans relationships can sometimes be a hell of a lot stronger than hetero ones due to bigotry, hatred and homophobia that is faced because all the negatives faced pull couples together.

BL: So true Julez. Let’s see what Pablo thinks!

Pablo:  Speaking as an active gay man, I think most gay men are very romantic waiting for Mr. Right or the knight in shining armor to come into their lives. In the late sixties and seventies I experienced monogamous relationships with men I loved. I also was quite promiscuous when not in a relationship. As I got older I couldn't jump into bed with a man the first night or even the first week. Although when I met Mike, he was more persistent about having sex on our initial dates, but I held back for a couple of weeks. We’ve been together for fifteen years and our love keeps growing. We are both hopeless romantics.

BL, you have brought up a very good point about writing. I think Julez did an excellent job in writing about transgender emotions. We all write about something we're not very versed in at times. We either learn by experience or vicariously through other people's lives. The important thing to remember is that we learn as we write. Personally I don't have much real life experience with heterosexual sex, but I dabbled with it a small amount in my novel. I based my scenes on what I learned through reading other author's writing. The important thing to do is research and learn as we go.

I agree Julez; you have to treat your characters with true human, natural emotions. People usually are not sex objects unless they want their lives to be only that. My second lover in the early 70's was a psychologist who counseled primarily gay and transgender people. He had one patient who became a woman who coupled with another transgender female. It was a very different type of relationship. Transgenders suffer more from discrimination and commit suicide more frequently than any other sexual lifestyle. They have emotions which most people do not recognize as being unique.

BL: So many great points Pablo. I wasn’t aware that transgendered people have a higher rate of suicide. That’s awesome about you and your partner too. I appreciate your frankness. So true about reading and learning. Each book should teach you something especially in areas you’re not well versed in to bring more reality to your stories.

Julez:  I agree about reading as well. I myself never thought I would find writing gay and trans stories more satisfying than if I stayed within my comfort zone, until I actually began reading in those genres. Now I only read hetero stories very rarely as my aim is to bring trans stories up to the popularity level of het and gay ones.

BL: I agree with everything you've said Julez! That's the reason why I write it. What’s more romantic than watching a couple get through all the prejudices and the stereotypes and fall in love? That to me is hotter than just the sexual element anyway. The sex is the icing on the cake.

Pablo, I agree with that as well. Are we learning from what we write? With each story, I'd like to delve deeper into the emotions of what 2 men face when falling in love. For that reason, I've started reading articles and books that deal with coming out to peers and family, getting help when they feel lost, etc.

The sex is the last part but as I staed about what Ike said, that’s a learning process as well. The emotional and romantic aspects to me are most important. You'll never see me writing a story without it. If I wanted just pure sex with no emotion, there are plenty of m/m books out there with that.

I’m not the one that wants to read or write that. I believe a man can be as sensual as a woman, and not just a gay man.

In writing, you have to convey their feelings, make the reader feel what your MCs are feeling. That’s what I try to do, whether in gay or straight writing!

Pablo: I'd like to throw out a subject relating to our partnership. Do you think LGBT writers have an advantage in their genre of writing? Can they express more from their personal experiences  and personify their characters more closely with emotions and understanding? What about the experiences in the workplace?

BL: I think LGBT writers have a slight advantage yes in mostly the, how it feels, department. Meaning sex itself. However, I believe I can convey the romance and emotion between two men just as well as a gay man. My thing is, I believe that both males and females can be romantic and sensual. Every person displays those emotions differently too.

Julez: I think yes possibly LGBT writers do have an advantage if they are in the type of relationship they write about, but as you may know by now I’ve always been hetero, just in the last 3-4 years becoming bi-curious, yet I really prefer to write the gay or trans stories for the romance and passion.

Pablo: I enjoy reading most genres but I must confess that I have had little time to read. I have books that I have not opened and promises to buy others.
Julez: Unfortunately I’m not in the right position to say much about orientation in the workplace as , due to my partial disability, I don't actually go out to work anymore.

However when I did it was a 'macho' work environment if you will and sex was only talked about in the hetero sense as everyone was either het or in a het relationship.

Pablo: Thanks for your interest. I came out openly after too many years of suppressing who I was. In my first years working and out, I did not hide my sexuality. I wouldn't get the meat and potatoes from people I worked with. I dated customers and had a fabulous time. During my last long term work, I was put in shipping and receiving with a straight manager and assistant who were from New York City totally biased against LGBT people. There was one other flamboyant gay man in our department when the whole store was flooded with gay people and lesbians I did not hide who I was as far as being gay in a hostile environment. The others saw how much good work I performed and learned to accept me for my sexual orientation. We all worked hard without any rewards and we partied after work together. They came to respect me, maybe because I picked up their ways of communication while the other gay people in the store frowned upon me and them. We had nick names for each other. Mine was chili dog because I put my dog where the chili came out. I went along with this and did not have sex with anyone I worked with but tried to keep friendly with the other gay and lesbian workers. They all supported my endeavors in writing. Unfortunately my closest friends from that time died when their lives were young. I felt I made a statement about how being open as gay made a difference to other men and women.
BL: That’s so an awesome thing Pablo that you made a difference in your workplace. In my experiences being in the workforce, I had very little gay coworkers. At my last job, my boss was openly gay and very cool. He didn’t talk much about his relationships. I also had a lesbian coworker who was quite frank about her experiences which I liked. What better knowledge on a subject than to hear it from someone first hand.

In conclusion, we have looked at our own experiences and tied them into our writing. We’ve learned that even though people who are of the gay community may have the upper hand when creating a gay story, we, as mostly hetero people like myself and Julez can still be spot on with our writing as long as we learn from it.

This discussion shows that even though we are different, a mostly hetero man and woman and a gay man who’s fully committed to his partner of 15 years, we all agree about the romanticism and sensuality. We all agree that commitments and promiscuity can be reality for gay and straight individuals and despite the obvious differences; we are still one and the same when it comes to love.

Unreal right?

Thanks for listening.

Nathanial Bosch heats up NNP blog with his interview and giveaway of THE CABIN

Naughty Nights Press would like to welcome with us today the handsome, charming and downright deliciously delectable Nathanial Bosch, author of the well received BDSM book, THE CABIN.

Don't forget to leave a comment and your email address, as one lucky person will win their very own copy of "THE CABIN".
N
Thank you for joining us here today, Nathanial, it is always a pleasure and a thrill to be on the same page as you.

NNP:  Now you were one of the first authors to have a book published by Naughty Nights Press. How did it feel when you received your acceptance and contract?

It was a very good feeling and certainly good news to hear.

NNP:  Does it still feel the same three months down the track or have you gotten used to seeing your name on a book cover?

It still feels the same as when I first heard and I am happy to hold on to the feeling.

NNP:  What inspired you to write The Cabin?

If there was a specific reason for writing it, I cannot now recall what it was.  I felt compelled to record some of my thoughts and the story provided me with a creative outlet to do that in a coherent way.

NNP:  When writing a book, do you start off with the story line, the characters or the location first?

I almost always start with a general concept.  That concept, after some direct and indirect contemplation, then spirals out into plot points, characters, images, etc.

NNP:  What type of research do you do for your writing as I noticed and I am sure all who have read The Cabin have as well, that you had a fair amount of detail that rings true in your books?

Little of what occurs in The Cabin is outside of my own experiences so no research was needed, though I did at times enjoy a few embellishments.

NNP: Do you have any other books in the pipeline and if so, would you care to share a little bit about it?

I do have a project in the works but as a bloody revenge story, it is about the farthest thing possible from The Cabin, thematically speaking.  I am very excited about it though.

NNP: Have you had any type of feedback by friends, family or fans about The Cabin and if so can you tell us what they said?

They have all only had good things to share.  I most appreciated the support I received for branching outward into genres and mediums I have explored in the past, the results of which heretofore had remained withheld, the stories kept secret.

Thank you much Nathanial for being on Naughty Nights Press today. It is always a pleasure and a delight to chat with you. I am sure the readers will be with me on this, when I say that I hope you have continued success and look very forward to reading more of your work.

 BLURB:
In this hard-core BDSM novelette, Victor and his slave experience the thrill of finally being alone to do as they wish.
The happy couple is tired of having to put their Dom/slave relationship on hold to go about their daily lives.
For one glorious weekend, that is all about to change.
Victor makes the necessary arrangements to take his slave to the family's quaint, isolated mountain cabin to train her to submit properly.  Helena could not be more thrilled!

EXCERPT:
Thirty miles away and down the mountain, Victor and Helena were bagging the groceries theyd purchased at the general store.  It was the last store, or building of any kind for that matter, up until the cabin out in the wilderness of the mountain.  Smiling and saying thank you to the old man at the counter, they made their way outside and over to the rented SUV Victor had parked in the far corner of the lot.
He unlocked the back hatch and they loaded the groceries and supplies inside.  Victor noticed that there was still plenty of room in the back, even with their luggage and the groceries.  This gave him an idea.

Looking around Victor noticed that the parking lot created a break in the trees, allowing for a view of the setting sun.  He admired the luscious, vibrant colors as he stepped in front of the SUV, leaving the hatch at the back of the truck open.

“Helena, come look at the sunset.”
Helena obediently came around the side of the vehicle to stand at his side.  She stood to his right as she took in the quickly changing colors of the horizon, going from burnt orange to deep red, and then further into purple twilight.

The SUV blocked them from the front of the store.  He watched her, allowing her to watch the colorful display just a little longer before pulling the small length of rope from his pocket and stepping behind her as he wrapped it around her throat.  Victor was firm but did not pull hard, though Helena knew just what was around her throat nonetheless.  She made no mistake about it, her Master was done playing nice for the locals, and there would be no more pretending that they were a normal couple on a romantic getaway.  What they had in mind was romantic to them, but they were far from being a “normal couple.”

Fear and Sex – What’s the Connection? by Abby Hayes

In my story, Haunted Party, in the Wicked and Wanton All Hallow’s Eve anthology, my female not only gets it on with one, two then three guys at once, but also a ghost. So hmmm, how many people does that make in one bed? You see in my story, sex was a means of building energy to give the ghosts something to feed off of so they would leave the people alone. But in writing this, I noticed distinctly this connection between fear and sex, the way even as I was writing the story that the scarier I made things in my head, the more amplified everything got!

So, I started to think about the connection between the fear and the sex. Is this why there is usually sex in horror films? Really, how did that ever come to be? I looked around a bit, and while I found a few explanations for the amount of sex in scary movies, I’m not sure if any of it is the real explanation. My favorite explanation for the sex in horror flicks was a theory about how when a guy and a girl go on a date to see a scary movie, the boobs in the movie get the guy going and the scary stuff puts the girl in his arms. A twofer I guess! LOL I’d actually heard that one before on a sitcom once, so who knows, maybe there is some truth to it. I even read a theory that this goes back to our prehistoric ancestors, ones who had to have sex while worrying about prehistoric creatures coming up and attacking them! Good one! But, I would love to get into the mind of the first person to write a scary movie who decided to put sex in it and find out why he (okay or she) did it.

Further research just got more interesting... I mean you have to check out this site http://io9.com/5393713/the-ultimate-guide-to-scary-sex-scenes-[nsfw]  or this one http://horrorfanzine.com/top-20-horror-sex-scenes/ Where am i going with this, well who knows? LOL I found the posts pretty amusing or just down right gross, not sexy. I did appreciate the comments though like telling the director to see a psychologist. But, did I learn anything about this connection though, not yet. What I do know is that I will watch a horror flick or read a horror story anytime, curled up on a guys lap, then … well you know the then. .. Of course, the genres of horror and erotica in books is much sexier, at least to me, but then this isn’t a debate about girls being emotional and men being visual.

Maybe it is just the adrenaline rush. I mean your heart is already pumping, you’re already getting hot, so using the state your body is in, working it, until you simply wear yourself out riding that high getting it on…well, there has to be something to that, right?. I for one am not complaining this spooky season. I love the scary and I love the sex, so woo hoo, horror erotica, well bonus for me! I can’t wait to read my fellow authors stories in the Wicked and Wanton All Hallow’s Eve Anthology. Fear is definitely a potent aphrodisiac for many, the fear of the unknown gets some people’s engines at a nice steady hum, and then, like me, they need more and more of it, seek, desire a greater intensity all the time.

I did search and search for psychological explanation, and maybe it is just me, but all I found were article after article about the fear OF sex. Not what I was going for. So, what about you? Do you like horror erotica? If so, why do you think that is? What’s the connection? And, if anyone knows why the first sex scene was put into a horror movie, by all means, please share!

Chit Chat and All That! With Cassandre Dayne & Abby Hayes...SEX PLAY VERSUS SCENE PLAY – IS THERE A DIFFERENCE?

SEX PLAY VERSUS SCENE PLAY – IS THERE A DIFFERENCE?
Cassandre Dayne and Abby Hayes

That’s actually an interesting question when you’re talking about erotic romance. Is there a difference? Abby and I have been talking about this wondering the very questions. Here’s the take I started with. I think sex play is exactly that – you’re talking and writing about sex in different positions, perhaps with same sex or the opposite sex with two or more people and could include aspects of spanking or BDSM. I think scene play is writing around the sex aspect to give you the flavor of what and how. Let me ask the readers – do you have a different feel making love with your partner in your bed at home even than being on vacation? I know I do. It’s sexier in other locations I think. With writing erotic you want to convey those delicious feelings you have around having sex, whether vanilla or kinky.

Abby and I decided to give you an idea about the difference and we’re going to chat about it. We’ll give you six scenarios of different locations so to speak so you can allow your mind to wander.

SEX ON VACATION – restaurant, hotel room, on the beach
Cassandre:  I think sex on vacation is much more delicious because you feel a bit more at ease. You’re leaving your every day life at home and you can party and play. Sometimes there’s alcohol involved. Just imagine a beautiful Caribbean island with crystal blue skies, warm lapping ocean water, puffy white clouds, light tropical breezes and a pool boy or five to bring you a wicked beverage. Whether you’re by yourself and might engage in a little playtime with a mysterious man or you’re with your partner and suddenly toys take on an entirely new meaning, it’s sexy and hot.

Abby: I’m going to agree and disagree with you on this, Cassandre. For some, like me, there is an element of anything different, like vacation, which is exhilarating because it is different, new, possibly pushing you out of your comfort zones. In a different place we get to experience new things, and sex can be one of those new things. The scene here, if played just right, can push a character out of their sexual comfort zones, make them even uncomfortable for a time, leading to that thrill of a new discovery, the sex scene getting a new high because of it. Okay, so I’m very rarely relaxed on vacation, LOL, doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy new things ;)

Cassandre:  I understand what you’re saying but I do think sometimes writers want to move outside of their comfort zone in a sense of their everyday life. While I’ve heard the trend now is that people want to read love stories about every day situations I do think there are those times people want to get away from the kids, their nagging boss, their bills and read about two people creating passion during the middle of a Tahiti vacation or rolling on the beach in St. Martin. Don’t you?

Abby: Absolutely! That is what I was saying, I love the excitement of the new even if it makes me uncomfortable – it’s a good thing! Being out of our element can be very arousing!

SEX IN THE WATER – Ocean, Shower, pool or hot tub
Cassandre:  For me I love the idea of making love in the water. My favorite thought is a lagoon under a moonlit kissed night with a waterfall in the background lighting dancing across the heat of your bodies as you hold each other completely naked in the mist. Think about hearing a bit of music in the background lighting seducing you as candles flicker near. Then the thought of a hot tub that’s cooled down just a bit so you and your partner can look at the stars as you ride him, the water lapping around you, your heart thumping in your chest and just at the moment of rapture you…  yummy

Abby: Give me a moment, I’m still enjoying your scene there! And yes, the sex is wet and wild thanks to it. I’ve always like the parts in romantic movies where the couples play in the waves of the ocean, and timed and placed just right, a little sex in the sand when you think the beach is deserted could be quite a ride. Hmmm, add in a little voyeurism there, a sole person walking along, and suddenly we have a ménage! See what some scene play can do for the sex! LOL

Cassandre:  That’s what I’m talking about. One of my favorite moments personally was a wicked even in a hot tub of a closed pool where we snuck in and the tasty treat is still something I remember today. I like to think I also give readers perhaps another taste of what they could do to kick up their passion. We get so bored with everyday sex that we don’t want it as much. Well…some don’t want it. LOL

Abby: I think that is why creating a scene is so important. Whether a reader tries or just creates new fantasies, it is important to kick it up. It just dawns on me though that the whole BDSM element, some of the toys and props used in these stories create quite a scene in and of themselves too. Recently read about getting a spanking when wet! LOL

SEX IN PUBLIC – elevator, plane, park
Cassandre:  Come now don’t tell me you’ve never wanted to join the mile high club? Imagine giving him the eye as you slip past the entire group of passengers toward that little bitty bathroom and then just as a treat for his birthday you lock the door, capture his mouth as you caress and touch and then drop to your knees giving him the naughty girl look you haven’t in a while. Or how about an elevator – you know the old kind where you can slide the key inside and stop the action between floors. He forces you to drop your things and backs you into a corner lifting your skirt and sliding his hand across your lace-covered mound. As he slips his finger past the thin elastic you swoon? Is it getting hot in here?

Abby: Sadly, I recently saw this as #69 on the show 1000 Ways To Die, and its just killed this whole scene for me literally :( I’m terrified of elevators, so going with the park! LOL which I could remember where I was reading this the other day, but it was a story where a house sat just outside a park, so the man waited for his lover on a bench to discipline her when she got home. He actually took to spanking her right on the bench. When two young women walked by and seemed intrigued, he invited them to help! Squirming in chair just thinking about it! So again, sex can be given a whole new flavor with the addition of something like a little spanking, but the scene can really offer something new entirely to the scenario.

Cassandre:  Absolutely the thrill of being caught by someone is a heady aphrodisiac. I once talked with a woman who her guy loved to have her ride in a car without a top on and would purposely take her through traffic. Not something you do if you’re afraid of getting recognized but…  I love the through in a restaurant – you know not wearing panties and slipping into the bathroom with him following closely behind. I’ve written several scenes like this. Yum.

Abby: I’m telling you, I love the going without panties thing! The excitement starts the moment you step out of the house :) And, personally, I so want to try one of those restaurant bathroom scenarios in real life!

SEX ON THE KITCHEN ISLAND – your house or another
Cassandre:  The kitchen isn’t just for eating any longer – that’s boring. After a long hard day at work you arrive home early, light some candles, put on a little saucy mood music, open a bottle of cabernet and slip into something fiery red from Victoria’s Secret. Perhaps lay out a flogger, a set of nipple clamps and your favorite vibrator and when you hear the key in the door you lean against the doorjamb absently flicking your finger into the swell of your breasts. As you beckon to him you ease back against the island and drop the thin straps on your nightie… Do you think he might take the hint?

Abby: I so agree here! Or just make yourself the buffet! Place yourself on the island with bowls of yummy foods you and your partner can enjoy off each other. Oh wait, I just totally got a new story idea here for a quite different type of dinner party! LOL Oh yeah, I like this scene, decadent foods, delicious sex…

Cassandre:  Imagine taking it a little further with a roaring fire, a bearskin rug, a basket full or toys and only a snow filled night to take you into ecstasy. Throw in a little massage and maybe some handcuffs and you have a wicked time in the making.

Abby: When you write that one, I want to know about it!!!!!!! Adding that to the sexual fantasies to do list! Off topic a little here, but for a newbie to being published, I can not tell you all I learn daily from other authors like you. I am just thrilled to share a publishing house like NNP with you.

SEX IN A CAR – just like when you were kids
Casssandre:  I was never much into parking and cars today are a bit interesting but imagine being in his big dodge ram and you’re simply traveling to the mall, perhaps to have lunch together. You encourage him to park all the way down at the end of the lane. It’s the middle of the afternoon after all. When he asks why you simply unfasten your seat belt and turn, licking your lips. As you crawl over and brush your lips across him you wink because palming his chest and reminding him exactly why he’s your man. Can you imagine a better appetizer for lunch?

Abby: What about pulled over on a deserted road riding your lover on the warm hood of the car always wondering when a car could come by… Somehow outside the home always leads me to the delightful worry of possibly getting caught.

Cassandre:  I’ve gone to lovers lane where kids are in the cars and necked a bit and I can tell you the looks I’ve received. But I love the idea of a car hood or even being spanked say across his lap in the middle of somewhere you might get caught.

Abby: That sounds nice! Being in college now, I’ve gotten to move a bit beyond the parking (was caught by cops once LOL), and into the college party scene. Can get a bit kinky there too. Lots of scenes for new stories!

SEX IN BED BUT NOT NECESSARILY YOUR OWN
Cassandre:  There’s nothing wrong with having sex in a bed. But what if you purchase those silk or satin sheets you’ve been talking about in bright crimson. Drape a few iridescent scarves around the room and throw pillows on the floor. If you’re lucky enough to have a head and foot board then go ahead and tie rope or scarves or handcuffs at the four corners telling him or her in no uncertain terms they will belong to you tonight. Extend the evening enjoying snacks and a book of poems as you re-learn each other’s bodies. How very sexy indeed.

Abby: Yes, I like in books or movies when a couple at a party sneaks into an empty bedroom for a quickie too.  So we have definitely established that scene can really help your sex scene. But, let me ask you this then, on a little different side of the coin, can there be a difference?… What about just scene play? I mean can you get your reader all hot and bothered by a scene of sexual tension? I personally love a detailed scene, two people, opposites or where like has made them enemies or their love forbidden, getting stuck somewhere together. The scene is raw, the feeling are there but fought, and even if they never touch but for brief seconds of getting too close, it can be oh so hot! What do you think, Cassandre?

Cassandre:  I love when you create sexual tension and I think you can and not do anything with it immediately. Just touching someone can be so hot and then unable to do anything whether because of the fact you’re already involved – oh I’ve had that one more times than not too. It’s a forbidden – you can look but not touch, you can hunger but not taste and it really excites readers. I think there’s a song like that.

Abby: Yes, the forbidden – I like that a lot! So, do you think that over the course of this discussion we have found that it isn’t so much the difference between scene and sex play, that even in a scene without actual sex but sexual tension, that the two need to play off each other, can only enrich each other?

I hope that we’ve given you not only some insights in to how we create out little worlds of fantasy but perhaps give you some delicious ideas about how to sauce up your sexy life. After all – kinky is a good thing…

Don’t Call Me Baby is a fast-paced, quick-witted, sexy, Mega Novel about a young woman exploring her sexuality and the cultural morés she collides with on a daily basis.

It's 1983 in Maryland and Catherine Stone is sex on wheels. She plays the field the way men have done for aeons. Not content to strive for her MRS degree like so many young women her age, she seduces men of all stripes – married college professors, theatre students, virgins, complete strangers who intrigue her. She has already cost one man his job.

She asks herself lots of questions on her search to enjoy her sexuality. Why don't other women enjoy their sex as much as she does? Why do so many women and men look down on sexually free women, calling them sluts while sexually free men are called studs and Lotharios? She bucks at the double standards! Catherine has made no commitment to any man. She's free to explore and she gladly does so. No man can tie her down and no woman's judgment will stop her from playing the field to her heart's content.

Does she meet her match in a new man who introduces her to sexual bliss she had never before experienced? When she tries multiple partners and bondage for the first time as a submissive, she believes she's found the sexual bliss she is looking for – and with a man who not only introduces her to the finer things in life but also cares about her like no man ever has before.

Little did she know that several men, including a father and son, would please her over the upcoming summer weeks, including one man who was her match.

Now for a sneak preview of "Don’t Call Me Baby" by Elizabeth Black

Catherine Stone looked around the amusement park and rides but saw nothing unusual. It was the end of another hot and humid day in Maryland during the summer of 1983. The sun had set behind the trees, casting shadows across the park hiding the car she sat in to some extent. Catherine wished it were a bit darker outside, because she was in constant fear of getting caught, but it was a hot June evening, so that was too much to ask for. Besides, the possibility of getting caught thrilled her, made the encounter all the more exciting for her. Every horn blowing and car pulling in made her hair stand on end. Will this be the cop who pulls us over? Can we get away with me sucking him off here yet again?

She unzipped Brian's trousers, and slipped her hand inside. Reaching into his briefs, her fingers wrapped around his growing cock and it jumped at her touch. Brian is so predictable. All he ever wants is for me to suck his cock. Good thing I demand a good, expensive meal after these trysts, or I'd get nothing out of them. She pulled his cock out of his trousers, feeling the organ spread out in her palm.
“Oh, that feels good. I love it when you stroke me off.”

She stroked his shaft, gripping him harder as her hand reached the base. Every time she squeezed, his cock jumped in her hand. She liked the way it looked and felt in her hand. Purple with arousal and thick with veins, the well-formed head glistened with pre-cum. In her years since starting college she had enjoyed many different types of cocks and Brian's was especially hot because it was so big and he was uncircumcised. She liked the look of hard cocks. When they were hard they were so sensitive. A twist a little too far this way or that way could hurt, yet she knew from what past lovers had told her, the pain felt so good. She liked pulling Brian's cock too far; just to get a painful, yet aroused reaction out of him. Although she felt impatient, she relished the fact that she was a good lay. Her blowjob skills had improved greatly over the months, and she could also make Brian come very quickly with her hand jobs.

As she gently rolled back his foreskin and stroked his growing shaft, she cradled his balls in her other hand. She liked the way his cock grew to nearly twice its size, when all she did was brush her fingers against it. It felt hard yet sinewy, like a garden hose full of water. She enjoyed the effect she had on him, and she relished her power. Sex was a heady power surge, and Catherine could not get enough of it.
Brian's cock was big; longer and thicker than other cocks she had the pleasure of sucking and fucking. Plus, at his age of fifty-eight, he stayed harder for a longer time, and it took him much longer to come than men her own age of twenty-two. Catherine never faked orgasms. She liked sex so much that she had no trouble coming every time she fucked. When she didn't feel like coming, she simply said so. Faking an orgasm was something she never even considered doing.

Tonight was one night, however, that she wished Brian would hurry up, come, and get it over with. She hated their trysts at the park because she got little if anything out of them. She would much rather stay in a nice hotel and spend the evening fucking without feeling any pressure, but that was not to be this evening. She needed to be at Silver Spring College in the morning for her new summer job. So here she sat, sexually unsatisfied and feeling a bit used wondering when she was going to meet a man who could satisfy her insatiable sexual needs.

“Yes, stroke it, Baby. Go slowly.”

“Don't call me 'Baby'.” She hated it when he called her 'baby'. It made her feel like she was his property. “Baby” was also what her father called her mother when he was trying to excuse his extramarital affairs. He'd say, “I'm sorry, Baby,” when all he was sorry for was getting caught, not the actual affairs themselves. Catherine wondered if she saw married men because of the way her father treated her mother. At least with a married man, he couldn't force her to be exclusive. She didn't have to make a commitment to a married man or get too emotionally invested. She was interested in the sex more than the relationship. Whenever Brian called her “Baby”, he reminded her of why she saw married men and that made her feel uncomfortable. She preferred to be called “Honey” which sounded more affectionate. She'd even accept “Hon”, which was a popular term of endearment in her native Baltimore but Brian was from New York. She hated “Baby” because it sounded so crude to her. Her roommate's obnoxious boyfriend called her “Baby” when he was lying to her, so the word left a bad taste in Catherine's mouth.

“Slow down. Don't pump at it like that.”

I'll pump it any way I want. What if a cop drives up? We certainly can't explain ourselves to a Man in Blue. She stroked his cock gently, moving her palm up and down his shaft. His cock jumped in her hand. Rubbing her thumb across his head and then giving him a gentle squeeze, she heard him moan. Jizz leaked out and dribbled on the head, and she spread it with her fingers as if it were lubricant for her moist and hot hand. She curled against his chest, and pressed her ear against his rib cage. His heart thundered in his chest, as it always did when she beat him off. He loved a good hand job, and she really didn't mind turning him on so much, because turning him on made her feel sexy. No other woman turned him on the way she did. Not even his wife. But impatience overtook her mood this evening, and she wanted to do other things, like eat. Her stomach growled. She was famished, and all she could think about was a good steak dinner at their favorite restaurant. After he comes, we'll go out for something to eat. And he's going to come soon; by the way his cock feels right now.
“Suck on it. I love it when you suck on it.”

Of course he loved it. She honed her technique on him, and being that she was alone with him in his Mercedes, she decided to pass the time by practicing a bit more. His wife wouldn't go down on him, so she made sure she was the best suck he ever had. And she was.

Cassandre Dayne talks about her new books, Red Fire - Surrender and Raging Shadows. Don't miss out on the giveaway!

Naughty Nights Press would like to welcome with us today the scintillating, sensuous and oh so wicked Cassandre Dayne, Author of Spankdown and the soon to be released Red Fire – Surrender, and Raging Shadows.

Thank you for joining us here today, Cassandre. Most people will already have heard of your name through the prolific amount of books you have written but also through the blogs you are guest writer for on a regular basis but today I want to ask you questions about your books. Genres you choose to write in, inspiration and so on.
So without further dilly dallying, let’s get going!

Now for the really good stuff...Naughty Nights Press is giving away to one lucky person a copy of either Red Fire - Surrender or Raging Shadows. To win, all you need to do is leave a comment about which book you would prefer to win and why, along with your email address. Good luck to everyone!

NNP:  What inspires you to writing?
Cassandre: Everything and anything and I’ve had it burning within me since I was about six.
NNP:  Do you start off with an idea then decide what genre to place it in or do you decide on genre first?
Cassandre: Generally I just have a story that I awake in the middle of the night and have to write down and I expand. My stories tend to tell me where to put them!
NNP:  What type of research do you do for your books as I have noticed and I am sure all who have read your books have as well, that you do put a fair amount of detail that rings true in your books?
Cassandre: Thank you SO much for the compliment and I do indeed do a lot of research. I read and search the internet of course and in certain cases such as needing to know more about a D/s relationship I spend time both on the internet and the phone talking with Dom’s. You have to make it real. I’ve talked with cops before about guns and found particular magazine articles. I love doing research.
NNP:  Now you have already had Spankdown released, how do you feel it was received by your fans and do you have any funny anecdotes that you can share with us about feedback you may have received?
Cassandre: Well – I loved getting the first reviews and the people asking me where in the world I got the idea and when I told them it was from a spanking blog they kinda went…. Really?  But I loved getting reviewed from the BDSM group and one negative comment was – could the girl handle that many spanks? Hmmm…
NNP:  Which brings me now to my next question; you have two books being released simultaneously at the end of this month.  How does that feel?
Cassandre: Are you kidding me? I feel blessed and thrilled to death. What it does for me is give me the need to write more and more… So I hope you don’t get tired of me!
NNP:  Can you tell us a bit about Red Fire – Surrender and Raging Shadows?
Cassandre: Coincidentally they are my two vampire pieces and both fringe on not only same sex but heavy kink. Red Fire is a trilogy involving a human male cop, Jax Steele, who is faced with a horrific set of brutal murders that mirror something tragic that happened in his past. The main suspect, Aleksandr Vasiliev is Russian and a photographer who deals with heady erotic photographs of men in BDSM positions. It’s really about Jax’s understanding of his needs as he learns to succumb to Aleks – or will he?  Raging Shadows is about a group of friends who take a dip into the Ouija Board asking for help from a group of spirit. Raging Shadows is a club catering to the darker side of BDSM and happens to be owned by two male vampires who are lovers. Unfortunately one of them is succumbing to the only disease known to vampires and is more ghost than creature of the night. Can our heroine save him?
NNP: Do you have any other books in the pipeline?
Cassandre: He he – you  have to be kidding me? Blue Fire – Domination is about one third done – the second in the trilogy, a sexy story for the campus anthology underway and a sexy one for Christmas titled Mr. Mistletoe. In addition the first in a trilogy called Bad Things is slated right behind these and done by the end of October so… busy girl.

Thank you so much Cassandre for being here today and letting us know about the new books you have coming out.

Raging Shadows  Due out 30th October 2011
 Synopsis:
Savannah Lily was bored with her everyday life and hungered to spice it up. Her job, as a fashion consultant, left her little time for a social life. So when her three best friends suggested a game using the Ouija Board and a naughty dare, she initially scoffed until she heard about the prize. She’d dabbled with the occult since her childhood, curious about all things that went bump in the night and Halloween was fast approaching. Hungry for one man who filled her every night with sinful visions, winning the prize just might help her achieve her ultimate fantasy, immortality.

Constantine Avion was considered by many to be a warlock specializing in the extreme torture of men and women. Some said he held the key of life and death in his hands and he was rumored to have a male lover. Feared by everyone that knew him, his secret club catered to the darker side of sex, infused with magic. Entrance by invitation only, few were selected to go behind the hallowed doors.

For some reason Raging Shadows was having a Halloween party open to the public in groups of four or more. The only catch? One member of each party would be required to perform an act of seduction or kink if requested, with no questions asked, and Constantine determined how the game was played.

As the night fast approached, Savannah was determined to entice the man some called a monster. Unfortunately, she didn’t understand his level of power and his desperate needs until one night reminded her she was very much alive.

Would Savannah decide to succumb to the man of her dreams and give up her soul or was there a darker power working against the tortured lovers?

Raging Shadows by Cassandre Dayne
Excerpt
There was no way he could be standing in her living room yet the intense scent of his cologne filled her nostrils, soothing her fears. Opening her eyes slowly, she gazed on what had to be the most incredible man on earth. Standing well over six and a half feet tall, his long blond hair flowed down his back like a golden halo. His massive frame showed a series of carved muscles through his tight black leather pants.
“Tell me, what do you see?” Inching forward, Constantine cocked his head, his entire demeanor commanding.
“I…I don’t know.”
“Yes, you do. You’ve always known me. You’ve always wanted me. You’ve always known I would come and take you to your destiny.”
His words were more than haunting. They were the truth. “What do you want?”
Easing closer, he sighed as he blazed a long trail down the length of her body. “Take off your dress.”
Gasping, Savannah took a step back until the edge of the fireplace mantle kept her from going any further. “What?”
“You belong to me. I’ve waited long enough. Take off your dress and come to me.” Holding out his hand, Constantine beckoned to her.
There was something more than just commanding about his voice as she gazed into his eyes, the golden flecks had returned, quieting her fears. As she glided toward him, her heart racing, she became lost to his intense prowess until she was no longer in control of her actions.
“That’s it. Come and be with me. Begin the next chapter of your life and one that will keep you with me forever.”
Throwing her inhibitions aside, she prayed she wasn’t going to burn in hell but her hunger was too great. Inching the dress up from her thighs, Savannah swallowed hard as he dragged the silky sheath from her shoulders and pitched the slip of material to the floor. Shivering from his heated look she willed her feelings of terror away and concentrated on his mesmerizing eyes. What do you want from me?
“Everything. I want all of you, body and soul.”
Shocked he could read her mind Savannah pressed her hand over her mouth.
“You’re surprised? Why? We’re connected together, you and I. And we’re going to become lovers tonight.”
“Why?”
“Why?” As he pulled off his shirt in one move, exposing his chiseled chest, he licked his lips, allowing a suckling sound to permeate the air. “Because it’s the end and the beginning.”
The words burned into the back of her mind. Savannah realized they were her words, spoken on lonely nights as she masturbated with his face in the back of her mind. As she gazed on his sculpted form every nerve ending was alive with hunger.
“I can see your need, your desire. Come and feed.”
Feed? The thought terrifying, Savannah brushed her hands through her hair, her hands shaking. “Constantine.”
Constantine sighed and exhaled as he moved forward a single step before stopping and pointing his finger. “Take off the rest. I’ve waited long enough to see all of the beauty of the one who’ll become my wife.”
Startled at his words, for several seconds she was frozen in the moment as her heart thumped in her chest. What was happening here? “I…I’m not sure.” Suddenly feeling very naked, she held her arms over her chest as her legs quivered.
Closing his eyes, he lowered his voice until the deep rumble was barely a whisper. “Don’t be afraid. I’m not here to hurt you. I only want to taste you tonight and entice you.”
While she didn’t see him move, Constantine had closed the distance until he was merely inches away from her. Savannah whimpered as she realized the true power of the man who stood before her. As if she was somewhere in the shadows of the past and the promise of many tomorrows, she nodded as she removed her bra, her eyes never leaving his.
“Touch me.”
His words weren’t a request but a demand. Palming his chest, the instant she touched his skin she gasped. While cool to the touch, the tips of her fingers burned from electric jolts that seared every nerve ending. Tipping her head, she sensed his longing and his struggle to contain his beast. As she stroked his massive chest, allowing her fingers to dance down to his crotch, she trembled from a growing thirst, swelling her clit. Cupping him, she moaned. Long and thick, he would fill her just as she craved.
“Mmmm…” Growling, Constantine dropped his gaze to her breasts and snarled. “My feast.” Howling like a predator, he held her breasts in his hands and lowered his head, dragging the rough tip of his tongue across first one tip of her diamond hard nipple and then the other.
Reclining her head back, Savannah clawed at him, moans escaping from her mouth as his ice cold breath skipped across her skin forcing goose bumps to rise across her arms and legs. As he licked and suckled, taking the tender flesh between his teeth, she sucked in her breath and scratched his arms. ”Oh…ohoh…”
Constantine emitted a low rumble and tipped his head back. Opening his mouth, he snarled as he locked his eyes onto hers, “You will enjoy my power of ecstasy.
