Naughty Nights Press would like to welcome with us today the scintillating, sensuous and oh so wicked Cassandre Dayne, Author of Spankdown and the soon to be released Red Fire – Surrender, and Raging Shadows.

Thank you for joining us here today, Cassandre. Most people will already have heard of your name through the prolific amount of books you have written but also through the blogs you are guest writer for on a regular basis but today I want to ask you questions about your books. Genres you choose to write in, inspiration and so on.

So without further dilly dallying, let’s get going!

NNP:  What inspires you to writing?

Cassandre: Everything and anything and I’ve had it burning within me since I was about six.

NNP:  Do you start off with an idea then decide what genre to place it in or do you decide on genre first?

Cassandre: Generally I just have a story that I awake in the middle of the night and have to write down and I expand. My stories tend to tell me where to put them!

NNP:  What type of research do you do for your books as I have noticed and I am sure all who have read your books have as well, that you do put a fair amount of detail that rings true in your books?

Cassandre: Thank you SO much for the compliment and I do indeed do a lot of research. I read and search the internet of course and in certain cases such as needing to know more about a D/s relationship I spend time both on the internet and the phone talking with Dom’s. You have to make it real. I’ve talked with cops before about guns and found particular magazine articles. I love doing research.

NNP:  Now you have already had Spankdown released, how do you feel it was received by your fans and do you have any funny anecdotes that you can share with us about feedback you may have received?

Cassandre: Well – I loved getting the first reviews and the people asking me where in the world I got the idea and when I told them it was from a spanking blog they kinda went…. Really?  But I loved getting reviewed from the BDSM group and one negative comment was – could the girl handle that many spanks? Hmmm…

NNP:  Which brings me now to my next question; you have two books being released simultaneously at the end of this month.  How does that feel?

Cassandre: Are you kidding me? I feel blessed and thrilled to death. What it does for me is give me the need to write more and more… So I hope you don’t get tired of me!

NNP:  Can you tell us a bit about Red Fire – Surrender and Raging Shadows?

Cassandre: Coincidentally they are my two vampire pieces and both fringe on not only same sex but heavy kink. Red Fire is a trilogy involving a human male cop, Jax Steele, who is faced with a horrific set of brutal murders that mirror something tragic that happened in his past. The main suspect, Aleksandr Vasiliev is Russian and a photographer who deals with heady erotic photographs of men in BDSM positions. It’s really about Jax’s understanding of his needs as he learns to succumb to Aleks – or will he?  Raging Shadows is about a group of friends who take a dip into the Ouija Board asking for help from a group of spirit. Raging Shadows is a club catering to the darker side of BDSM and happens to be owned by two male vampires who are lovers. Unfortunately one of them is succumbing to the only disease known to vampires and is more ghost than creature of the night. Can our heroine save him?

NNP: Do you have any other books in the pipeline?

Cassandre: He he – you  have to be kidding me? Blue Fire – Domination is about one third done – the second in the trilogy, a sexy story for the campus anthology underway and a sexy one for Christmas titled Mr. Mistletoe. In addition the first in a trilogy called Bad Things is slated right behind these and done by the end of October so… busy girl.

 Synopsis:

Constantine Avion was considered by many to be a warlock specializing in the extreme torture of men and women. There was no way he could be standing in her living room yet the intense scent of his cologne filled her nostrils, soothing her fears. Opening her eyes slowly, she gazed on what had to be the most incredible man on earth. Standing well over six and a half feet tall, his long blond hair flowed down his back like a golden halo. His massive frame showed a series of carved muscles through his tight black leather pants.

“Tell me, what do you see?” Inching forward, Constantine cocked his head, his entire demeanor commanding.

“I…I don’t know.”

“Yes, you do. You’ve always known me. You’ve always wanted me. You’ve always known I would come and take you to your destiny.”

His words were more than haunting. They were the truth. “What do you want?”

Easing closer, he sighed as he blazed a long trail down the length of her body. “Take off your dress.”

Gasping, Savannah took a step back until the edge of the fireplace mantle kept her from going any further. “What?”

“You belong to me. I’ve waited long enough. Take off your dress and come to me.” Holding out his hand, Constantine beckoned to her.

There was something more than just commanding about his voice as she gazed into his eyes, the golden flecks had returned, quieting her fears. As she glided toward him, her heart racing, she became lost to his intense prowess until she was no longer in control of her actions.

“That’s it. Come and be with me. Begin the next chapter of your life and one that will keep you with me forever.”

Throwing her inhibitions aside, she prayed she wasn’t going to burn in hell but her hunger was too great. Inching the dress up from her thighs, Savannah swallowed hard as he dragged the silky sheath from her shoulders and pitched the slip of material to the floor. Shivering from his heated look she willed her feelings of terror away and concentrated on his mesmerizing eyes. What do you want from me?

“Everything. I want all of you, body and soul.”

Shocked he could read her mind Savannah pressed her hand over her mouth.

“You’re surprised? Why? We’re connected together, you and I. And we’re going to become lovers tonight.”

“Why?”

“Why?” As he pulled off his shirt in one move, exposing his chiseled chest, he licked his lips, allowing a suckling sound to permeate the air. “Because it’s the end and the beginning.”

The words burned into the back of her mind. Savannah realized they were her words, spoken on lonely nights as she masturbated with his face in the back of her mind. As she gazed on his sculpted form every nerve ending was alive with hunger.

“I can see your need, your desire. Come and feed.”

Feed? The thought terrifying, Savannah brushed her hands through her hair, her hands shaking. “Constantine.”

    Constantine sighed and exhaled as he moved forward a single step before stopping and pointing his finger. “Take off the rest. I’ve waited long enough to see all of the beauty of the one who’ll become my wife.”

Startled at his words, for several seconds she was frozen in the moment as her heart thumped in her chest. What was happening here? “I…I’m not sure.” Suddenly feeling very naked, she held her arms over her chest as her legs quivered.

Closing his eyes, he lowered his voice until the deep rumble was barely a whisper. “Don’t be afraid. I’m not here to hurt you. I only want to taste you tonight and entice you.”

While she didn’t see him move, Constantine had closed the distance until he was merely inches away from her. Savannah whimpered as she realized the true power of the man who stood before her. As if she was somewhere in the shadows of the past and the promise of many tomorrows, she nodded as she removed her bra, her eyes never leaving his.

“Touch me.”

His words weren’t a request but a demand. Palming his chest, the instant she touched his skin she gasped. While cool to the touch, the tips of her fingers burned from electric jolts that seared every nerve ending. Tipping her head, she sensed his longing and his struggle to contain his beast. As she stroked his massive chest, allowing her fingers to dance down to his crotch, she trembled from a growing thirst, swelling her clit. Cupping him, she moaned. Long and thick, he would fill her just as she craved.

“Mmmm…” Growling, Constantine dropped his gaze to her breasts and snarled. “My feast.” Howling like a predator, he held her breasts in his hands and lowered his head, dragging the rough tip of his tongue across first one tip of her diamond hard nipple and then the other.
